Our Specialties

Adult Endocrinology

Endocrinology is a branch of medicine that focuses on hormones, endocrine glands and the related organs. Hormones are chemical messengers that travel through the blood from one part of your body to another. Many vital bodily functions are regulated by hormones, including sleep, metabolism, sexual function and growth.

The Department of Endocrinology at SKMC offers comprehensive services for diabetes and the spectrum of endocrinological disorders. Our multidisciplinary endocrine team comprises consultants, diabetes educators, dieticians, podiatric foot care staff and retinal screening staff. Additionally, to best care for our patients, we also provide phlebotomy services on-site. Our highly specialized team consists of endocrinologists, pathologists, nuclear medicine specialists, radiologists and otolaryngologist (ENT) surgeons, who offer a range of thyroid cancer services.
