Dr. Ahmad Alrustamani is a highly experienced hematologist with 25 years of expertise in both benign and malignant hematology. He has worked across local, regional, and international institutions, playing a key role in establishing multiple hematology units in the UAE. At SKMC, he has been instrumental in re-establishing outpatient hematology services, including clinics and infusion centers. His expertise extends to bone marrow transplantation and the management of complex hematological conditions. Additionally, he collaborates with multidisciplinary teams in obstetrical clinics to manage high-risk pregnancies with hematological complications. Dr. Alrustamani has been actively involved in clinical research, serving as an investigator in multiple trials that have significantly influenced hematology practices in the UAE. His leadership roles include directing hematology services at DHA, SKMC, and Burjeel Medical City, where he contributed to advancing hematological care and treatment protocols.
