Dr. Natalia Rivera is a general surgeon with over ten years of medical experience, known for her exceptional medical expertise and humanistic approach to patient care. She graduated from Universidad del Rosario, Colombia, and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree with ars of medical experience known for her exceptional medical expertise and humanistic approach to patient care. She graduated from Universidad del Rosario Colombia and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree with a specialization in General Surgery. Dr. Rivera specializes in trauma, acute and complex surgical pathology, advanced laparoscopic techniques, female breast and proctological problems, and hernia surgery. She has received specialized training in abdominal wall surgery and is currently pursuing a master's degree at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid to enhance her expertise in this area. Dr. Rivera is also an instructor for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and has been recognized for her outstanding performance as a Teaching Assistant in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research Program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Additionally, she is actively involved in clinical research contributing to advancements in surgical practices and patient outcomes. Aside from her surgical practice, Dr. Rivera is passionate about medical education. She has completed comprehensive teaching training programs, including the Teaching Learning and Innovation Program sponsored by Fundação Lemann. She is dedicated to mentoring residents and medical students to foster the next generation of healthcare professionals.
