Robert Clyne Prempeh

Biography

Dr. Robert Prempeh is a Consultant Physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and Salma Children's Rehabilitation Hospital, Abu Dhabi. He specializes in neurodisability rehabilitation, managing both adult and pediatric patients with conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, and spinal paralysis. His expertise extends to complex spasticity management, botulinum toxin therapy, and disability assessments. Dr. Prempeh completed his medical training at the University of the West Indies and pursued specialist training in neurosurgery, neurology, and rehabilitation medicine at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow and has contributed extensively to medical research. His work includes collaboration on cerebral palsy standards for the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, and authorship in leading medical journals.
