Shabal Sapkota

Biography

Dr. Shabal Sapkota is a neurosurgeon with over 13 years of diverse experience across the USA, Singapore, China, Nepal, Germany, and UAE. He has made significant contributions to clinical research and medical education, mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students. His work has been widely recognized through publications in international neurosurgery journals, and he actively serves as a reviewer for esteemed journals such as SNI and NJNS. He has received several national and international awards, including the AANS International Visiting Surgeons Fellowship (USA, 2014), WFNS Clinical Neurosurgery Fellowship (Singapore, 2015), and WFNS-Aesculap Clinical Neurosurgery Fellowship (Germany, 2016). Dr. Sapkota specializes in neurocritical care, pediatric neurosurgery, hydrocephalus, and complex brain and spine surgeries. He has founded two neurosurgical centers, demonstrating visionary leadership and the ability to build high-performance teams. Passionate about advancing neurosurgical programs, he is dedicated to improving emergency surgical management and patient outcomes.
