He completed his neurology residency at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, India, and later worked as an Associate Professor in a tertiary care teaching hospital in India until 2016. Since moving to the UAE, he has been practicing neurology and is currently licensed as a Consultant Neurologist by the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi. He holds a Specialty Certificate in Neurology from the Federation of Royal College of Physicians of the UK and was recognized as a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers, USA, in 2022.
