Areej Alghamdi

Biography

Dr. Areej Alghamdi is a board-certified pediatric nephrologist with expertise in managing chronic kidney disease, dialysis-dependent children, and renal transplant recipients. She has extensive experience handling general nephrology cases, including nephrotic syndrome, hypertension, and cystic kidney diseases. Her training includes a Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital and a Pediatric Residency at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Alghamdi completed her medical education at Umm Al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatric Nephrology.
